The NSAU delegation visit to Minsk (the Republic of Belarus) took place from the 6 to 9th of October, 2009. The aim of the visit was to hold negotiations on realization of the joint projects in the framework of the provisions of the “Framework Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Belarus about the Cooperation in Peaceful Exploration and Use of Outer Space”.
The NSAU delegation consisted of the representatives of the State enterprise Arsenal, Design Bureau Yuzhnoye, National Scientific and Research Enterprise “KONEKS” and the National Centre of the Space Vehicles Control and Test.
It was reached an agreement concerning the expediency of the Joint Interagency Ukrainian and Belarusian Working Group creation for the perspective projects’ active preparation and coordination, including in the earth remote sense area.
There were confirmed understandings on realization of coordinated actions to extend the trilateral Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian cooperation in space area, especially in the area of earth remote sensing satellite creation, common use of the ground space infrastructure and earth remote sensing data exchange.
