The SSAU delegation concluded its participation in the UNISPACE+50 events in Vienna

    Within the framework of the UNISPACE + 50 Symposium of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, Pavlo Degtiarenko, the SSAU Chairman, made a report on the potential of the space sector of Ukraine and put forward proposals on participation in the implementation of the tasks of the UN Space 2030 Agenda.

    Among the proposals that were made, inter alia, the provision of information by the national Space Situation Monitoring and Analysis System (SSMAS) to the UN Register of Objects Launched into Outer Space, the use The National Aerospace Education Center of Youth (Dnepr) as an UN affiliated regional scientific and technological center of space education, as well as the use of the "" platform (developed by Yuzhnoe SDO in conjunction with the International Astronautical Federation) to find solutions to global space activities problems.

    In addition, Pavlo Degtiarenko held talks with the heads of delegations of France, Poland, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Norway, China, and had a meeting with the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna. During the meetings, there were discussions on the state and prospects of the development of bilateral cooperation, as well as the possibilities of addressing the problematic issues.
