Access of foreign journalists to the territory of SSAU subordinated enterprise
 

In view of the information regarding the refusal to host journalists at the State Enterprise "Yuzhmash" contained in the article "Two North Korean Spies, a Ukrainian Jail and a Murky Tale" published on September 28, 2017 in the New York Times newspaper (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/28/world/europe/north-korea-ukraine-missiles.html?mcubz=1), the State Space Agency of Ukraine informs the following.

The State Space Agency of Ukraine and its enterprises are open to communication with journalists, in particular foreign ones. At the same time, given the special regime of access to the territory of space enterprises, as well as measures related to the protection of information on missile and space subjects, we draw your attention to the need to comply with the following requirements. An official application of a foreign publishing house is required at the address of the State Space Agency of Ukraine (01010, Ukraine, Kyiv, 8 Moskovska St., fax: +380442816209, e-mail: yd@nkau.gov.ua ) and the company regarding the permit to visit the enterprise, which should indicate the proposed dates and the time of the visit, the names and positions of the persons who intend to visit the company, as well as the list of questions for the interview. Copies of passports of persons intending to visit the enterprise should be attached to the above application.

The given application will be processed, which may take up to two weeks. The decision on admission to the territory of the enterprise and its separate manufacturing or other premises, as well as provision of relevant information, shall be made on the basis of the application processing.
