Other useful information As of now, citizens of EU countries, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, USA, Canada, Japan and most ex-USSR countries do not need a visa to stay in Ukraine for less than 90 days. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers cancelling the visaless policy with respect to the EU. We will monitor this situation and keep you informed about any changes. You can see the current official exchange rate at the website of The National Bank of Ukraine. Note that the actual exchange rates are normally higher (you get more UAH for 1 USD or 1 EUR than listed). Due to the financial crisis, it is difficult to say what the rates will be in September, so be sure to check them from time to time.
